David is still in the middle of his treatment/summary/synopsis. As for now, we will spend the next year writing, hopefully, two movies. The second one will serve a few purposes. Its first purpose will allow David to walk away from his first movie so he can go back to it after a time with fresh eyes, do a really good rewrite and have it ready for production. Writing a second movie will also keep the momentum going. We won't have to start all over again. Plus, he will be looking at his second script with fresh and more experienced eyes. The second movie should be even better than his first. His first movie will still be amazing. My husband values quality.
David will also be working toward General Manager at Olive Garden where he will work 60 hours a week. He is already working 50 hours as Sales Manager. I share this because it is important. He is going to be working somewhere between 75 and 100 hours a week to provide for his family and pursue a dream. It is also important to note David has the support of his wife, me. The hard part, David values family and wants to spend more time than he has with us. But, this is the direction God has paved for us. It won't be easy but easy doesn't allow for God to work. We just need to keep our focus on Him and watch the amazing things He has in store for us.

Introduction
I am posting my first blog. I have been wanting to do this for some time and after reading others' blogspots, I finally decided to do my own. I hope these are worth reading.
This blog will follow our family as we pursue writing and producing our own feature length film. Like everything else, it will take a lot of time, patience, money, and talented people. Our journey began 6 1/2 years ago with a decision that would push us out of the known and into a life that was new, exciting, and very uncomfortable. Three years in Virginia we spent so David could get his MFA in Script and screenwriting. While there, he also directed a short film. We then headed west to sunny California. After 3 years of working for free as an intern and working at Olive Garden to support a family of 4 then 5 and now 6, to try and break into the Fort Knox a.k.a. Hollywood, David was very discouraged. Then a friend of ours went out on his own and produced his own film. We decided we could do that too. After having exhausted all other avenues, we felt this was the direction God was telling us to go.
So here we go.
